Uplifting My Sisters will celebrate its first year in business with influential women of various industries, backgrounds, and ages from across the state. This inspiring conference promotes the organization’s dedication to bridging the generational and social gap amongst women in the community. The conference will feature a host of publicly recognized business and education-focused speakers plus programs to encourage the attendance of young ladies from the age of 10 and older.
Keynote speakers include Octavia Mitchell of Channel 2 News who is a mentor and weekly recognizes the great effort of educators and students with her “Cool School” program and Carolyn Hunter of C & A d.b.a McDonalds who owns three local restaurants and pledged a million-dollar donation to provide educational assistance for Trident Technical College students.
